Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM) is the process of generating accurate, parametric 3D digital models of historic structures based on high-density Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) and LiDAR data. HBIM captures complex non-standard geometries such as baroque vaults, stone masonry deflections, and historic timber frames, serving as an irreplaceable baseline for non-destructive restoration, structural integrity analysis, and digital archiving.
