LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging)

Definiție Standardizată

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an active remote sensing technology that emits thousands of laser pulses per second to measure precise x, y, z spatial coordinates. Using equipment like the Matterport Pro3 LiDAR camera, Digital Strada captures outdoor and indoor spaces with millimetric accuracy up to 100 meters, producing dense point clouds (.E57, .XYZ) for Scan-to-CAD and Scan-to-BIM workflows.

Standarde Aplicabile

  • ASTM E57 Point Cloud Standard
  • LAS/LAZ Formats

Aplicații în Industrie

  • Sub-Centimeter As-Built Site Documentation
  • High-Density 3D Point Cloud Export (.E57 / .XYZ / .RCS)
  • Large Scale Infrastructure & Outdoor Industrial Capture
